Welcome to the Cornerstone Collective of Churches!

The Cornerstone Collective is a communion of churches partnering together in the gospel to advance the mission of God across Merseyside.

Our communion as churches is rooted in the communion we have with God because of our union with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why Collective?

Merseyside has a population of around 1.3 million people, with less than 2% currently attending evangelical churches and many areas and community hubs with very little or even no Gospel influence.

The Cornerstone Collective was established in 2018 and is an expression of the partnership between 5 local Churches who share the same theological convictions, philosophy of ministry and earnest desire to see Merseyside won for the Lord Jesus.
Cornerstone Church Liverpool, Cornerstone Church Wirral, Liberti Church Lark Lane, Hope Church Kensington, and Orrell Park Baptist Church are autonomous Churches who share a deep relational communion and choose to partner together in various ways to advance the mission of God across the region we love.

As a communion of churches partnering together, there are distinctive convictions and values that define us as a Collective and unite us together. For the Collective to exist and thrive, it is vital that we are unified In theological communion, relational communion, & missional communion.
The task is big but together we believe that we are stronger! We make the commitment to work together to mutually strengthen each other and encourage the planting of new gospel communities and new churches. We are Biblically convinced that this is the most effective way to reach our region and the Cornerstone Collective provides the forum to share resources, experiences and expertise with this Great Commission goal in mind.

The churches of the Cornerstone Collective recognise the importance of partnering together with other churches and organisations that share our beliefs. Read about our partners & affiliates here:
